Because of Tropical Storm Fay we are having lots of rain here. I personally love rain so this is my kind of weather.
My husband is away on a camping trip in Yosemite National Park(Ca) with his grown kids and grandkids for 8 days. I have had no communication with him since Sunday morning when they were on the way to Yosemite. AT&T said there is no signal there for us to use our cell phones. This is the longest we have been apart in the 15 years we have been married. I do not like it one little bit!!!!
Business is slow and I suppose it is the economy. All our antiques stores owners here in Huntsville are saying this same thing.
I wanted to let you know about the annual Antiques Show and Sale at the Fairgrounds here
September 20-21. There will be about 100 booths with sellers from all over the US. I did that show last year but it is totally impossible to do so this year with lack of help here in the store for me to be away from the store for 2 days.
If you can get here, try out the local show and visit the historical downtown Courthouse square.

I forgot to tell you we were chosen by the readers of the local newspaper, the Huntsville Item as the readers choice best antique store for the second year.

Hope you made it through the storm ok!! I saw ya'll yesterday passing by the shop. We just got our electricity back and I'm so glad.
